Chess Girls DC is launching Give to Girls and Women Day. It is a national awareness campaign to increase funding for women’s and girls’ organizations that will culminate on October 11, 2023, the International Day of the Girl. Did you know, based on data from 48,395 charitable organizations dedicated to women and girls, the report, Women & Girls Index: Measuring Giving to Womens' and Girls Causes, revealed that in 2019, philanthropic support for women and girls made up less than 1.9 percent of overall charitable giving.
