On the anniversary of our 7th year,Robin is dedicated to encouraging diversity in Chess tournaments especially as it relates to gender and economic factors. It is her priority to expose students, especially economically challenged students to competition at the Local, National and International levels.
A National Master, he is altruistic, dedicated to social justice and Chess for all. He has dedicated his time and talent to provide lectures and instruction on Saturdays for over 3 years.
Serves on our advisory board to provide training in our classrooms, especially in south east Washington, DC. He has a passion for bringing youth together internationally.

Adu is a DC resident and the current DC Chess Champion. He is a former champion of Nigeria and played in the 33 rd Chess Olympiad and the Chess World Cup 2015. He works closely with the Chess Girls DC and provides chess instruction to the Washington DC community.
Eddie Koen, Vice President Eddie Koen is the President of the Institute for Educational Leadership, an organization based in Washington, DC, established to equip leaders to work together across boundaries to build effective systems that prepare children and youth for postsecondary education, careers and citizenship. Marc Rotenberg, Treasurer Marc is a former DC Chess Champion (2007, 2008, 2010),Expert class player, former chair of the US Chess Center (2011-2021), and a USCF Local Tournament Director. Marc has been active with the USCF for over 50 years – and in DC over 40 years -- as a tournament player, tournament director, organizer, and supporter of chess programs. He is a Life Member of US Chess and a donor to Chess Girls DC, the US Chess Trust, the US Chess Women and Girls program, and the MACA Living Memorial Chess Fund.
